PRC announced that a total of 11,225 out of 29,188 have successfully passed the May 2014 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination.
The examination was administered in the following testing centers on May 25 and 26, 2014: Manila, all PRC Regional Offices (excluding PRC Tacloban Regional Office), and the cities of Zamboanga, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Dagupan, Laoag and Bacolod.
The members of the Board of Nursing who administered the board exam are Carmencita M. Abaquin, Chairman; Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay and Amelia B. Rosales, Members.
Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice”.
